FAQ
An add-on. BazaarKit runs on top of Dokan Lite, the free version, and adds the marketplace features that are otherwise held back for Dokan Pro. It is an alternative to paying for Pro, not a replacement for Dokan itself.
No. Vendor shipping is a Dokan Pro feature, so on Lite you only have WooCommerce's site-wide zones. BazaarKit's free core adds per-vendor shipping back: each vendor sets a flat price per listing and buyers pay one bundled rate per shop.
The core is free forever. Add-ons are £5 a month each, except Messaging & Offers at £7 because it covers two features, and there is a one-off bundle for everything — £99.50 for the first 100 licences, then £199. Dokan Pro is sold as annual bundles from $149 to $999 a year.
With the Escrow add-on, yes. Each vendor's payout is held on Stripe Connect and released after delivery and a buyer-protection window, with automatic refund reversal and chargeback claw-back. If a licence lapses while money is held, settlement keeps running until the ledger is empty.
Yes. Each add-on is a separate plugin with its own licence, so you can run escrow without paying for reviews, and cancel any one of them without touching the rest.
Only for the Escrow add-on, which uses Stripe Connect so each vendor connects their own account and you never hold card data. Everything else — shipping, messaging, reviews, disputes, notifications — works with whatever payment gateway you already use.
